Casa Mañana's Apprentice Program presents Les Misérables: School Edition at Casa Mañana Theatre, August 6 - 8.

Les Misérables: School Edition is the summer musical production from Casa Mañana's Apprentice Program. This is the first summer musical production by the Apprentice Program, which is a program for students ages 14 through 19 with exceptional theatrical skills.

Les Misérables tells the story of Jean Valjean, petty thief turned honest citizen. Following his release from prison, he becomes the mayor of a prosperous town and a loving, adoptive father. But his quest for deliverance is continuously thwarted by the relentless Inspector Javert. This epic tale, set in nineteenth century France is a great emotional story for all as Valjean strives and finally succeeds at redemption. This Broadway classic is performed entirely by students.

Cast includes: Carrington DeLaGarza as "Valjean" and Freddie O'Lenick as "Javert," with Molly Franco as "Eponine," Mary McElree as "Cosette," Katie Porterfield as "Fantine," Brandon Whitley as "Marius," Rachel Marek as "Madame Thenardier," and Rob Foster as "Thenardier."

Additional cast members include: Katie Blanton, Brooke Verbois, Clay Slee, Andrew Gallop, Andrew Derasaugh, Jack Bristol, Connor Smith, Jonathan Hardin, Ty Taylor, Zane Lynch, Austin Buckner, Shaun Senter, Caroline Reyes, David Phillips, Sloane Bain, Danielle Holway, Caroline Carden, Deanna Boone, Conner Wedgeworth, Miranda McCarthy, Courtney Harris, Charly Lemmons, Paige Stinnett, Riley Seymour, Caitlin Turnage, Kaitlyn Tucker and Ellie Hertel.

Les Misérables: School Edition is directed by Joe Sturgeon.

Casa Mañana's production of Les Misérables: School Edition is presented for an exclusive limited engagement at Casa Mañana Theatre.

Performance dates are Friday, August 6 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, August 7 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, August 8 at 2:00 p.m. This show is suitable for most audiences.

Tickets for Les Misérables: School Edition are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the box office at 817.332.2272. You can also visit the Casa Mañana Theatre box office at 3101 West Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth. Ticket prices are $25 to $50, depending upon seating location.
