Casa Mañana has announced the nominees for this year's Thirteenth Annual Betty Lynn Buckley Awards, held Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. at Casa Mañana Theatre.

Casa Mañana's Betty Lynn Buckley Awards celebrate excellence in high school musical theatre across Tarrant and surrounding counties. A panel of distinguished judges comprised of local theatre professionals and educators, vote for a winner in each of 15 award categories. Winners in select categories are rewarded with a generous college scholarship. The winners in Best Female Actor and Best Male Actor will continue on to compete in the fourth annual National High School Musical Theatre Awards, held Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway, New York City.

- All Saints' Episcopal, Into the Woods

- Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts, The Drowsy Chaperone

- Grapevine High School, Chicago

- Mansfield High School, The Drowsy Chaperone

- Trinity Valley School, Curtains

- Trinity Valley School, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Best Female Actor

- Sarah Allen, Colleyville Covenant Christian Academy, Oliver (Nancy)

- Megan Broussard, Mansfield High School, The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet Van de Graff)

- Courtney Harris, All Saints' Episcopal, Into the Woods (Witch)

- Laura Renfro, Grapevine High School, Chicago (Roxie Hart)

- Sarah Roach, Grapevine High School, Chicago (Velma Kelly)

- Braden Wilkerson, Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts, The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet Van de Graff)

Best Male Actor

- Ben Allen, Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts, The Drowsy Chaperone (Man in Chair)
