Casa Manana presents the iconic musical 42nd Street tonight, November 10 - 18 at Casa Mañana Theatre. Tickets are on sale now.

Charismatic chorus girl Peggy Sawyer gets her big break when she replaces an injured Broadway star. This Tony Award-winning musical features unforgettable showtunes including “We’re in the Money,” “I Only Have Eyes For You” and “Lullaby of Broadway.” With sparkling dance numbers and old-fashioned romance, this toe-tapping classic has something for everyone.

Casa Mañana’s production of 42nd Street stars Kirstin Tucker as “Peggy Sawyer,” Ted K?ch as “Julian Marsh,” Allison Briner as “Dorothy Brock” and Charles MacEachern as “Billy Lawlor.” Tucker appeared in the First National Tours of West Side Story and A Chorus Line. K?ch is a noted Broadway actor whose credits include Death of a Salesman, The Pillowman, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Elling. Briner performed in the Broadway production of Mamma Mia! and in the national tours of Mamma Mia!, Titanic…A New Musical and Les Misérables. MacEachern is reprising the role he performed on the Nederlander Asian Tour.

42nd Street is directed by Tim Bennett and choreographed by Dontee Kiehn. Bennett is returning to Casa Mañana after directing the regional premiere of the Tony Award-winning musical Rent in March. He was recently the Resident Director of the Las Vegas production of The Lion King and the Director/Choreographer for Bernstein on Broadway at The Boston Pops. Kiehn is a noted Broadway performer and choreographer. She was most recently the Associate Choreographer for The Addams Family starring Nathan Lane and the Tony Award-winning Next to Normal. Kiehn performed in the Broadway revivals of 42nd Street and Gypsy.

Sheilah Walker is the Music Director for 42nd Street. Walker has been conducting for over 25 years and she has performed with Broadway shows, national tours and regional productions. Walker’s credits include the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof and the national tours of Ragtime, The Color Purple, South Pacific and Hello, Dolly!. She was recently the Conductor for The American Repertory Theatre workshop of The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess with Audra McDonald and Norm Lewis.

Jonathan Parke is the Sound Designer and John Bartenstein is the Lighting Designer. Patricia Delsordo is the Hair & Makeup Designer, Tammy Spencer is the Costume Designer and Katie Dill is the Scenic Designer.

Additional cast members include Linda Leonard as “Maggie Jones,” Bob Reed as “Bert Barry,” Christopher J Deaton as “Pat Denning,” Van Quattro as “Abner Dillon,” Robbie Roby as “Andy Lee” and Paige Wheat as “Anytime Annie.” Additional members include Abi Abel, Alyssa Gardner Robbins, Mallory Michaellan, Aubrey Adams, Sarah Shelton, Caitlin Cannon, Gary Payne, Zach Sutton, Jeremy Dumont, Maurice Johnson, Tanner Hanley and Michael Pandolfo.

Casa Mañana’s production of 42nd Street is presented for a limited engagement at Casa Mañana Theatre in Fort Worth. Performance dates are tonight, November 10 at 2:00 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Sunday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m; Tuesday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m; Wednesday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m; Thursday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m; Friday, November 16 at 8:00 p.m; Saturday, November 17 at 8:00 p.m; and Sunday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m. This show is suitable for all audiences.

Friday, November 9, at 7:00 p.m. is a student preview night with cast talkback following the show; open for students, faculty and staff with valid school ID for $10.

Tickets for 42nd Street are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Casa Mañana Theatre box office at 817.332.2272. You can also visit the box office at 3101 West Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth. Ticket prices are $41 to $76, depending upon seating location. A $20 student rush ticket will be offered one hour prior to every performance with valid school ID.
