The hilarious comedy Camping with Gasoline starring Jaston Williams makes its Dallas / Fort Worth premiere at Casa Mañana Theatre for a limited engagement on Saturday, November 3. Tickets are on sale now.
Audiences won’t want to miss this journey as Williams guides you back to his West Texas childhood and the psychotic family Christmases known as “Blood and Holly”, to his Boy Scout troop, where the main activities were smoking, gambling, and sleeping late, and finally, join an excursion gone haywire in Guatemala.
A native-born Texan, Williams has performed on and off Broadway and come back to The Lone Star State with an impressive array of awards and credits. Recognized as one of the creators and performers of the Tuna series, he received the L.A. Drama-Logue Award and a Helen Hayes Award- nomination for “Best Actor”, and received the Texas Governor’s award for “Outstanding Contribution to the Arts by a Native Texan.” Williams has also represented the State of Texas at The White House by performing there on numerous occasions.
