MainStage Irving-Las Colinas will continue its 2016-17 Razzle Dazzle season with the Tim Firth comedy CALENDAR GIRLS. The production runs March 17 through April 1, 2017, at the Irving Arts Center's Dupree Theater (3333 N. MacArthur Blvd., Irving, TX 75062).

All evening performances are at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. Single tickets range from $19-28 and are on sale now at the Irving Arts Center Box Office (972.252.2787/ www.irvingartscenter.com). Ticket discounts are available for seniors and students.

When Annie's husband dies of cancer, she and her best friend Chris resolve to raise money for a new settee in the local hospital waiting room. They manage to persuade four fellow Women's Institute members to pose nude with them for an "alternative" calendar benefiting the Leukemia Research Fund. The news of the women's brave charitable venture spreads like wildfire, and hordes of press soon descend on the small village in the Yorkshire Dales. Inspired by true events, CALENDAR GIRLS is the heart-warming tale of ordinary women who achieved something extraordinary.

"At its core, CALENDAR GIRLS is about friendship and being there for one another," says director Lon Barrera, "That's why I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to tell this story. The family that you choose is an incredible bond and these ladies prove that. To quote the show, 'the last phase is the most glorious' and I can't wait to show the audiences how true that is!"

CALENDAR GIRLS stars Sid Curtis (Chris), Sherri Small Ansley (Annie), Sheila Rose (Cora), Lana K. Hoover (Jessie), Lindsay Hayward (Celia), Carrie Blake (Ruth), Lucia Welch (Marie), Shannon Conboy (Elaine), Trich Zaitoon (Lady Cravenshire/Brenda Hulse), Clayton Cunningham (John), Michael McNiel (Rod) and Travis Ponikiewski (Lawrence/Liam).

The CALENDAR GIRLS production team includes Director Lon Barrera, Administrative Producer Evelyn G. Hall, Technical Producer Dane Tuttle, Stage Manager Nicole Lugar, Costume Designer Hope Cox, Lighting Designer Kyle Harris, Set Designer Kevin Brown, Sound Designer Mark Howard, Properties Designer Dawn Blasingame and Master Carpenter Kris Hampton.

Tickets to CALENDAR GIRLS are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Irving Arts Center's Box Office at 972.252.2787 or by ordering tickets online at www.irvingartscenter.com.
