Brick Road Theatre Set to Enchant with THE SECRET GARDEN

Brick Road Theatre presents The Secret Garden as the final show of our FINDING A VOICE season. The Secret Garden is the Tony Award-winning (1991, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score) adaptation of the beloved classic children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Featuring a lyrical and flourishing score by Lucy Simon and a book by Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman ('night, Mother), The Secret Garden tells the story of a lonely orphaned girl sent to live on the windswept Yorkshire moors with her reclusive uncle. While there, she unexpectedly discovers the magic of nature and the power of human connection.

The Secret Garden will be performed at The Courtyard Theater in Plano, October 20, 21 27, and 28, 30 at 7:30 pm, and October 22, 27, and 28 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are available now at brickroadtheatre.org, and are priced at $15-$25.

The award winning production team includes director Tyler Jeffrey Adams, choreographer Kelly McCain, and music director Pam Holcomb-McLain, who will lead the live orchestra. The cast features Piper Cunningham as Mary Lennox, Scott Nixon as Archibald Craven, ELisa Danielle James as Lily Craven, Daron Cockerell as Martha, Corbin Born as Dickon, Corey Whaley as Neville Craven, Patrick Shukis as Colin Craven, and is supported by a strong ensemble cast which includes Mindy Bell, Aaron Gallagher, Kieran Hansen, Caitlin Jones, Gregg Loso, Vinnie Mahal, Jonathan McInnis, Olivia Grace Murphy, Ivy Opdyke, Jessica Peterson, Jonathan Speegle, and Marilyn Twyman.
