Casa Mañana Theatre presents SEUSSICAL JR. as the final production of their 2015 - 2016 Children's Theatre season, presented by Northstar Bank. Tickets are on sale now.

In this fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza, Tony® Award winning team Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty lovingly bring to life all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination-Jojo the Who. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphantly!

SEUSSICAL JR.'s cast includes: Jeremy Dumont (of the national tour of WEST SIDE STORY) as "The Cat in the Hat", Patrick Clanton (Sister Act the Musical on tour) as "Horton the Elephant", Casa Performing Arts Conservatory instructor Laura Wetsel as "Gertrude McFuzz", Stephen Newton as "Jojo", Brett Warner as "Mayzie la Bird", Kimberly M. Oliver as "Sour Kangaroo", Zak Reynolds as the "Mr. Mayor", Alyssa Gardner as "Mrs. Mayor", and Clinton Greenspan as a "Wickersham Brother".

The cast also features Casa Mañana Performing Arts Conservatory (CPAC) students including: Alvaro Aguilar, Emma Colwell, Tanner Garmon, Emily Hensley, Emerson Herr, Dawson Holder, Ryleigh Jochens, Lauren Magee, Ashton Miramontes, Theodore Morris, Josie Dawn Patterson, Ally Ramsey, Gabi Roller, Brandon Shreve, Camryn Wright, and Sarah Youngblood.

The production is directed and choreographed by Jeremy Dumont, who last staged Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr. at Casa Mañana. Additional creative team members include Sally Gardner as music director, Samuel Rushen as lighting designer, Bob Lavallee as scenic designer, Kyle McCord as sound designer, Tammy Spencer as costume designer, and Catherine Petty-Rogers as hair, wig and make-up designer.

Performance dates and times are as follows: Friday, April 15 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 16 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Sunday, April 17 at 2 p.m., Friday, April 22 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Sunday, April 24 at 2 p.m., Friday, April 29 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 30 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Sunday, May 1 at 2 p.m., Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 7 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., and Sunday, May 8 at 2 p.m.
