FMPAT will be holding auditions for the youth role of Tina in Ruthless! The Musical on Tues June 16 at FMPATheatre.

For the auditions, please bring a current headshot and resume and prepare two 16 bar songs (one up tempo & one ballad).

Rehearsals for RUTHLESS! are tentatively scheduled begin on September 16th for Non Equity actors and September 21st for Equity actors.

Performances for RUTHLESS! will be held October 8 - 18, 2009.

Seeking 1 girl (to play age 8) for the role of Tina:

Tina: an 8-year old "triple threat", loaded with talent and manipulative to the core, she is sickeningly sweet but underneath, is a remorseless psychopath. She will be required to tap quite proficiently, and should have a strong belt. Children auditioning should be under 11 years old and should be able to pass for an 8 year old. F# below middle C to E one octave above middle C, Broadway Belt **Please be aware that there is some PG-13 adult language spoken by Tina in the show. Girls auditioning should be prepared to demonstrate their tap abilities at the audition from a combination that will be taught to them. Tap experience is preferred, but not required.

FMPAT's mission: To develop cultural growth in North Texas, with an emphasis in Flower Mound by challenging audiences through presentation of new, diverse, and classic theatrical productions for both adults and children; raising awareness of important issues through performance; fostering the educational development of future artists; and preserving the heritage of live theatrical performances for both current and future generations.
