Amphibian Stage Productions (Kathleen Culebro, Artistic Director) will screen a film of the National Theatre of London's production of The Audience by Peter Morgan, starring Helen Mirren, on Wednesday, July 27 at 2pm and 7pm in partnership with the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

Distributed internationally by BY Experience, National Theatre Live is an initiative to broadcast live performances from the National Theatre's stages to cinemas worldwide. In Fort Worth, the screenings are presented exclusively at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, courtesy of Amphibian Stage Productions. Fort Worth screenings of National Theatre Live began in the fall of 2011.

For sixty years, Queen Elizabeth II has met with each of her twelve Prime Ministers in a private weekly meeting. This meeting is known as The Audience. No one knows what they discuss, not even their spouses.

>From the old warrior Winston Churchill, to the Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher, to Tony Blair and David Cameron, the Queen advises her Prime Ministers on all matters both public and personal. Through these private audiences, we see glimpses of the woman behind the crown and witness the moments that shaped a monarch.

Nominated for three Tony Awards, The Audience sees Helen Mirren reprise her Olivier Award-winning performance as Queen Elizabeth II, following her Academy Award win for the same role in The Queen.

The Audience will screen on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 2pm and 7pm at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Tickets to National Theatre Live broadcasts are $20, with additional discounts available for seniors, students, members of Amphibian Stage Productions and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, members of the theatre community, as well as groups of 10 or more.

To purchase tickets, theatergoers may call 817-923-3012, write to boxoffice@amphibianstage.com, or visit www.amphibianstage.com. The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is located at 3200 Darnell Street, Fort Worth, TX 71607.
