Amphibian Stage Productions today announced additional screenings of National Theatre Live's award-winning hit, Frankenstein, presented in association with the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. In addition to two screenings on Thursday, June 14, Amphibian will also present two screenings on Thursday, June 21. Screenings take place at 2 PM and 7 PM at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Distributed by BY Experience, Frankenstein, a new play by Nick Dear based on the novel by Mary Shelley, returns to The National Theatre Live series for encore screenings after its critically acclaimed run in 2011. Amphibian is proud to be the first to bring this historic performance to Fort Worth, Texas.
Frankenstein features the Olivier-Award-winning performances of Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller, who alternate the roles of Victor Frankenstein and the Creature in two electrifying broadcasts. Amphibian is thrilled to present screenings of both performances: On Thursday, June 14, Benedict Cumberbatch will play the Creature, and Jonny Lee Miller will play Dr. Frankenstein. On Thursday, June 21, Jonny Lee Miller will play the Creature, and Benedict Cumberbatch will play Dr. Frankenstein.
