Alley Theatre Auditions Young Actors for A CHRISTMAS CAROL 8/29

The Alley Theatre is holding auditions for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 12 to be considered for roles in the Alley Theatre's 2009 production of A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story of Christmas.

Those wishing to audition must be available for rehearsals and performances beginning October 27 through December 27, 2009.

Children must be age 12 or younger; and may not be members of AEA, SAG or AFTRA.
Children auditioning should be prepared to sing one verse a cappella from a traditional holiday song such as "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" or "O Come All Ye Faithful." Children should also prepare a short monologue, story or joke. Total material prepared should not exceed two minutes.

Beginning Monday, August 24, parents may schedule their child by e-mailing contact information (name, phone number, the child's name and child's age) to auditions@alleytheatre.org. (Please note: the "auditions" mailbox will be inactive prior to August 24. Appointment requests submitted prior to Monday, August 24 may not be received.)
