Last year's holiday hit A Christmas Carol: The Radio Show will return to Theatre Too, downstairs at Theatre Three for a limited engagement from November 25 to December 11, 2016.

With direction originally by Gene Raye Price, the one-man show, set in 1947, stars Dallas-Fort Worth theatre mainstay B.J. Cleveland as Bob Bennett, the manager of a radio station in a small Midwestern town who learns that the cast and orchestra for the station's annual presentation of A Christmas Carol are entirely snowed out. Bennett decides to play all 21 characters and perform all of the live sound effects.

The late Theatre Three Artistic Director Jac Alder first scheduled this production to play in Theatre Too last year after it was first mounted by the critically acclaimed One Thirty Productions. After a successful holiday run, current Acting Artistic Director Bruce R. Coleman revealed that the play would be remounted as part of the extensive season announced for Theatre Too, Theatre Three's intimate downstairs black box space.

B.J. Cleveland, who will also direct this season's production of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, is a multi-award-winning actor and director with more than 400 shows to his credit as actor, director and choreographer. Most recently, he was recognized by the DFW Theater Critics Forum for his critically acclaimed performance in the regional premiere of The Nance, and he has been named Best Actor numerous times by D Magazine, the Dallas Observer, the Star-Telegram and FW Weekly for his starring roles throughout the Metroplex.

Cleveland is well known in the area as the top-rated television host of the "Disney Afternoon" for more than 10 years. He also hosted the Discovery Channel series "Route 66" and appeared on the NBC series "The Facts of Life." He has served as president of the Live Theatre League of Tarrant County, artistic director of Theatre Arlington and resident actor/director for Casa Manana. B.J.'s honors include Lifetime Achievement awards from the Live Theatre League of Tarrant County and the DFW Theater Critics as well as being named among the Distinguished Alumni of Tarrant County College. He is a teaching artist with the nationally renowned Dallas Children's Theater and an associate artist with Uptown Players, Kids Who Care and One Thirty Productions.
