Proper Hijinx announces their cast for the final show of their 2016 season. Directed by Founder Stefany Cambra, Neil Labute's In a Dark Dark House will showcase the talents of Hijinx veteran Jeff Burleson along with the debut of new Hijinxers Aaron White and Madeleine Morris.
One of Labute's less frequently produced scripts, In a Dark Dark House will be a regional premiere, sticking to PHP's commitment to produce newer, contemporary works. The story centers around the relationship of two brothers Terry and Drew (played respectively by Burleson and White) facing the skeletons in their familial closet.
Proper Hijinx will also be branching out and performing their final 2016 show in a new venue- the acclaimed and well-reputed Amphibian Stage Productions out in Forth Worth, TX. Cambra is enthusiastic about working in a new space; "Amphibian Stage Productions produces stellar work year around and I love their venue. They have been exceedingly kind and supportive in working with us to rent the space and schedule performance dates. I hope it will be a stepping stone to further collaboration down the line".
Performances will take place December 9-18, 2016. For more information, please visit www.properhijinx.com or email properhijinx@gmail.com.
