You Are Cordially Invited to the End of the World, penned by Keiko Green, is set to make its world premiere at South Coast Repertory from April 5 to May 4, 2025. This heartfelt comedy, directed by Zi Alikhan, explores the dynamics of a family grappling with a crisis following a terminal diagnosis, intertwining humor and pathos as they face their fears and meander through the chaos of impending loss. The play was previously showcased at SCR’s 2024 Pacific Playwrights Festival, where it received positive audience feedback. The cast details will be announced later.
The Old Man and The Old Moon (7/20/24-8/11/24)
South Coast Repertory was founded in the belief that theatre is an art form with a unique power to illuminate the human experience. We commit ourselves to exploring urgent human and social issues of our time, and to merging literature, design, and performance in ways that test the bounds of theatre's artistic possibilities. We undertake to advance the art of theatre in the service of our community, and aim to extend that service through educational, intercultural, and community engagement programs that harmonize with our artistic mission.
