Directed by Michael Nehring
Our Town is a metatheatrical, three-act play-within-a-play by American playwright Thornton Wilder who won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for this work. The play tells the story of the fictional American small town of Grover's Corners between 1901 and 1913 through the everyday lives of its citizens. Using metatheatrical devices, the play is set in the actual theatre where it is being performed and spans three acts: Daily Life, Love and Marriage, and Death and Eternity.
Our Town is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com
