Who do you carry with you on life's journey? For some, there are those inspirational individuals whose influence alters the very trajectory of our existence. Charles Nelson Reilly was one such luminary. He and Paul Linke crafted Charles's acclaimed solo play, Save It for the Stage, a production later immortalized on film as "The Life of Reilly!"
It's Only a Show! is a behind the curtain look at a man of influence – a warm tribute to the legendary Charles Nelson Reilly. Paul Linke, who worked alongside Mr. Reilly for nearly a decade, now introduces L.A. audiences to a new perspective on this comic genius.
Directed by Edward Edwards, produced by John Ruskin, and Michael Myers, this production is more than just a play – it's a journey through laughter, lessons, and the magic of the stage. Paul Linke, known for his roles in CHiPs, Judging Amy, and the acclaimed solo shows Time Flies When You're Alive, an HBO Showcase (Ace Award nominee), invites you to an evening of heart-felt humor on the enduring spirit of a true mentor.
Saturdays at 5pm, this show runs in tandem with John Colella's 8pm performances of "An Extraordinary Ordinary Man."
Ruskin Group Theatre is at 3000 Airport Avenue, Santa Monica, CA.
