Alison Freeman studied in New York to be an opera singer, but now spends her time singing the music of the 1920s and 30s in Los Angeles. She also runs a theatre program called The Troupe, teaching inner-city kids to sing, dance, act, and bringing performing arts to the Los Angeles Unified School District. In May her students performed a production of "The Boyfriend" on the stage of the Warner Theatre in San Pedro. For "With A Song In My Heart", she brings her critically acclaimed tribute to songwriters and composers, Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. The show includes the team's most famous material but she gives it her own comedic style through her patter and is joined by BRyan Miller on piano.
