Musical Theatre West joins two of their favorite performers in an evening of love and music in A Fine Romance…in Song and Dance starring David Engel and Tami Tappan Damiano. This special event will take place Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the spectacular Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach.
A Fine Romance is about a couple meeting, falling in love, getting married and then living and loving through a myriad of issues, told completely through song. Individually, David Engel and Tami Tappan Damiano each have brought their incomparable talents to the MTW stage numerous times. Together, they have an onstage chemistry that is unmatched in Southern California Theater. This duo sings and dances like no one else can in this cabaret that features the classic love songs, "Blues in the Night", "But The World Goes Round", "Baby It's Cold Outside", "All Of Me", "I Won't Dance", and the title tune "A Fine Romance," and many more.
A Fine Romance…in Song and Dance will be at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach on Sunday, March 14, 2010. Dinner at 5:00PM, with the show at 7:00pm. Proceeds from this event will go towards MTW's education and outreach programs, which introduce thousands of children each year to the joy and magic of theater, as well as other important programs.
David Engel is a favorite to MTW audiences. He is now a six-time recipient of the L.A.
Stage Alliance Ovation Award and audiences will remember Mr. Engel starring on the MTW stage in such shows as

Tami Tappan Damiano has a long history with MTW. Tami appeared in many MTW productions, including

Never Gonna Dance,
Guys and Dolls,
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and in
Singin' in the Rain, most of these shows with her pal/leading man,
David Engel. Tami can be heard as the singing voice of Cinderella in the Disney DVD, "Cinderella III." Other Disney Cinderella recordings include "The Princess Tea Party," "The Princess Christmas Album," and "Princess Stories: Sharing." She also has a CD,
