When Randle P. McMurphy fakes insanity and is transferred from a prison work farm to a mental institution, the whole place is turned on its head. Ruled by the cold, iron fist of Nurse Ratched, the hospital's patients are at her mercy; but McMurphy, a foul mouthed gambler, mocks her authority and stands up for the other patients in the ward. McMurphy serves as a beacon of hope and fairness for the patients. He antagonizes Ratched and the two engage in a take-no-prisoners power struggle, and whomever loses, loses everything.Videos
