In this gripping new adaptation by Wendy Kesselman, from the original stage play by Goodrich and Hackett, newly discovered writings from the diary of Anne Frank, as well as survivor accounts, are interwoven to create a contemporary impassioned story of the lives of people persecuted under Nazi rule.
This is an adaptation for a new generation able to confront the true horrors of the Holocaust. This extremely poignant drama comes to the community of Norwalk, CA at a critical time in the United States. The themes of bonding together in a quest for survival and finding the light within the moments of darkness are brought together in a unique staging by John Glenn's newest director and drama teacher Jonathan D. Mesisca. The show is presented by students of Glenn's advanced drama class, with scenic and lighting design from members of its very prominent drama club.
The play will be held December 5, 6, and 7 at 7pm for the cost of $8.
Tickets are available at the door or by emailing JohnGlennHSDrama@gmail.com
