"In my newest show," states Elliott; "I have chosen to celebrate the element of fire in all of its various musical contexts - torch songs, songs of passion, and songs with a spark of playfulness. I also wanted to push myself in unexpected direction using different music genres; country (Ring of Fire, June Carter); pop (Vincent, Don McLean); and classic rock (Light My Fire, The Doors). I've also got some of Broadway's finest composers and lyricists in the mix - Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, Steven Lutvak, Stephen Sondheim and William Finn. And I'll be doing a sneak preview of material from Fred Barton's New York cabaret classic Miss Gulch Returns, which I'll be performing next spring at Desert Ensemble Theatre Company."
Jerome Elliott won a 2013 Desert Theatre League Award for his performance in Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays at the Annenberg Theater (Keith Coleman Productions).
