Students eager to make their way to Broadway will hone their acting, singing and dancing skills during Segerstrom Center's yearly musical theater camp Six Days of Broadway from June 22 through July 4, 2015. Students participating in these week-long intensives are introduced to musical theater technique and repertoire taught by some of the industry's leading professional artists and instructors. Classes will cover topics such as musical theater performance, acting, dance, audition technique and introduction to the business of acting.
Tony Award® nominee and Broadway/film star Erin Dilly returns to lead the program along with Broadway veterans Stephen Buntrock, Danny Gurwin, Hank Stratton, Emily Rozek and other notable coaches and teachers. The program culminates with the talented cast of students showcasing their week's efforts to invited family and friends.
Six Days of Broadway features two sessions divided by age groups. Students ages 11 - 13 participate in the June 22 - 27 session and students 14 - 19 participate in the June 29 - July 4 session. Classes take place in the professional rehearsal and performance spaces of the Center's education center located in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall.
