Bill A. Jones to Play Arthur Newman Theater, 10/27

Glee fans will recognize TV news anchor 'Rod Remington' played by Bill A. Jones, but he's also an accomplished singer who'll perform his show "The Great Gentlemen Of Song" on Sunday, October 27th as the closing show of the Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series presented by Les Michaels at the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert. Joining Mr. Jones will be musical director Steve Rawlins and his trio. It also marks the final show of the 5th successful season, which has been invited back next year and to begin one month earlier, in April, and run through October.

In addition to "Glee," Bill was seen recently on "CSI: New York" as the Donald Trump-inspired character, 'Richard Kemp.' Additionally, Bill has been seen on "The King Of Queens," "Everybody Hates Chris," "Las Vegas," "Criminal Minds, and has been featured in TV commercials for Crest Toothpaste, Nissan, American Airlines and on film, Bill co-starred with Al Pacino in "Simone". As a singer, Bill opened for Tony Bennett at the St. Jude's Children's Hospital 50th Anniversary Gala at The Beverly Hilton, and has toured with The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Bill embodies the great standards in the tradition of Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble`, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis in his latest CD, "I've Heard That Song, Big Band Songbook" and his first, "Frankly", both are available at www.CDBaby.com.

"The Great Gentlemen Of Song" starring Bill A. Jones with the Steve Rawlins Trio, will be presented at 2 PM on Sunday, October 27, 2013at the Arthur Newman Theater in The Joslyn Center at 73750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert. Presented by Les Michaels Life Is A Cabaret Entertainment as part of the Sundays In Summer Series, tickets are $10 cash only and available before the show at the box office, which opens at 1 PM.
