BURN THE FLOOR Comes To The Segerstrom Center 5/31-6/12

Years before Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance turned ballroom dancing into must-see TV, one sizzling show was setting stages ablaze around the globe.

BURN THE FLOOR, the electrifying Latin and Ballroom dance spectacular that has thrilled audiences in more than 30 countries, brings the fire and passion of their live performance to Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Orange County, for TWO WEEKS only, May 31 to June 12. Tickets start at $20 and go on sale Sunday, April 10 at 10 a.m. PST.

Full casting for BURN THE FLOOR will be announced shortly. Currently, the tour features So You Think You Can Dance alums Robbie Kmetoni, Janette Manrara and Karen Hauer.

All three have been seen on TV's So You Think You Can Dance, in the U.S. (Janette Manrara and Karen Hauer, Top 10 Finalists) and Australia (Robbie Kmetoni, 2010 Winner). Also featured is Vonzell Solomon as the show's female vocalist. Vonzell was the second runner-up in the 4th season of American Idol.

In addition to the presenting and producing institution Segerstrom Center for the Arts, the 14-acre campus also embraces the facilities of two independent acclaimed organizations: Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory and a site designated as the future home of the Orange County Museum of Art.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts is also proud to serve as the artistic home to three of the region's major performing arts organizations: Pacific Symphony, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County and the Pacific Chorale, who contribute greatly to the artistic life of the region with annual seasons at Segerstrom Center for the Arts
