Troupers Light Opera is proud to present Gilbert and Sullivan's magnificent show: "The Yeomen of the Guard," with as cast of 34 and an full orchestra or 30, along with period sets and costumes. The comic operetta takes place at Tower Green surrounding the Tower of London, and in addition to the Beefeaters (Yeomen), features Jack Point and Elsie, a strolling jester and singer, who become accidentally involved in a plot to help an unjusty accused prisoner escape. This is widely consider Sullivan's best score and the story one of the most interesting. There will be four performances, matinee and evening (2:30 and7:30) and Saturday April 15 and Saturday April 22. Tickets are available at https://trouperslightopera.org, and at the door.
