The Prom at Ridgefield Theater Barn

Tickets are now on sale for The Prom opening on Friday, September 6th.

Join us at the Ridgefield Theater Barn for an exciting production of The Prom, book and lyrics by Chad Beguelin, book by Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar, and based on an original concept by Jack Viertal. Directed by Deb Failla with music direction by John Failla and choreography by Bonnie Gregson, this vibrant musical will run from September 6th to September 28th, 2024.

Experience the heartfelt story of love, acceptance, and the power of community in an intimate setting. This hilarious and heartwarming hit musical tells the story of self-absorbed Broadway stars who descend on a small town to champion a high school girl’s right to attend the prom with her girlfriend. Expect big laughs, dazzling dance numbers, and a whole lot of heart!

Performances will take place Friday and Saturday evenings from September 6th through September 28th at 8pm, with Sunday matinees September 15th and 22nd at 5pm.  SPECIAL PERFORMANCES: Friday, September 13 - Family Night! (no alcohol), including Pre-Show Community Panel on Resources for LGBTQ+ Youth; Sunday, September 15th, Pay-What-You-Want matinee. Tickets are $40 for adults, $35 for seniors/students/veterans. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Tickets can be purchased at ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org.

Seating is cabaret-style, and the audience is invited to bring food and drinks (concessions are also available). Doors open one hour prior to curtain.
