SPIRIT OF THE HIGHLANDS at American Repertory Ballet

American Repertory Ballet presents the world premiere of Ethan Stiefel’s SPIRIT OF THE HIGHLANDS, an adaptation of the classic Bournonville ballet La Sylphide. Set against the backdrop of the Scottish Highlands, the ballet follows a Scotsman's romantic quest for a mystical forest spirit, infused with Stiefel's authentic Scottish heritage. This collaboration features scenic design by Howard C. Jones, costume design by Janessa Cornell Urwin, and lighting by Joseph Walls, creating a vivid and enchanting experience for the audience. Performances run from March 7 to March 9, 2025, at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center.
