Oddfellows Playhouse Junior Repertory Company stages a contemporary take on the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland. The production will run March 17th-20th at Oddfellows Playhouse, located at 128 Washington Street in Middletown.Curiouser and curiouser! Based on the works of Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland is a fantastical journey into a dream world where anything is possible! While in search of her lost cat, Dinah, young Alice travels through the looking glass, down the rabbit hole, and into the backwards world of Wonderland. Featuring a Mad Tea Party hosted by the Hatter himself, a royal game of croquet with her majesty, the Queen of Hearts, and all manner of mishaps and madness along the way, Alice in Wonderland is a series of satiric, madcap adventures you wont soon forget. We invite you to join us as we venture into the Wonderland you never knew, where sense can always be made out of nonsense (or vice versa) and curiosity sparks imagination! A show for the young and young at heart, Alice in Wonderland is brought to life by a cast of 16 young actors, ages 12-14, who make up the Junior Repertory Company. Directed by Dan Schmidt, Alice in Wonderland features choreography by Natalia Sandrine, scenic design by Suzanne LaTulipe, costume design by Christian Milik, lighting design by Jon-Paul LaRocco, sound design by Jen Rankin, and properties design by Caleb Warner.Performances will be at 7pm on March 17th - 19th, with 2pm matinee performances on Saturday, March 19th and Sunday, March 20th.Tickets for Alice in Wonderland are $15 for adults and $8 for students, with a Pay-What-You-Can preview on March 17th.
