Jon Abrams has made a career covering Billy Joel. He toured with the national Broadway production of the Billy Joel/Twyla Tharp tony-award winning musical Movin' Out in the lead role as the piano man. He is also the front man (piano/vocals) and music director of Boston-based Billy Joel tribute band, 'The Strangers' which features Billy's original guitarist, David Brown, as well as other members of Billy's past and current touring ensembles. Jon has performed, recorded, rehearsed and toured with: Ritchie Canata, Mark Rivera, Dave Rosenthal, David Brown (all members of the Billy Joel camp); Jon Herington, Ted Baker (of Steely Dan); as well as other assorted musicians from New York, Nashville and Los Angeles. He has toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. He has also lived in Las Vegas where he played in residence at dueling piano bars up and down the strip. Cabarets at Center Stage are a bring your own refreshments events with table seating. Tickets are $15.00.
