Music Theatre of Connecticut (MTC), Fairfield County’s professional award-winning theatre announces the return of its summer performance series, MTC’s Hot Summer Nights. As audiences await the start of the 37th MainStage Season in September, which opens with the Tony Award-winning musical, Jersey Boys, MTC is here to keep you entertained until then with award-winning local, NYC, and Broadway talent. Performances are on select Saturdays throughout the summer, beginning at 8:00 pm (June 24th, July 8th, July 15th, July 29th, & August 5th).
Wrapping up MTC's Hot Summer Nights series will be MTC veteran, Mia Scarpa with her show, Just Judy, on August 5th. Just Judy is a solo tribute to the legendary Judy Garland. Mia will share stories about growing up as the ultimate Judy Garland fan and sing the songs that made her a star and an icon of music. Just Judy features the hits that made a lasting impact, from Judy’s earliest youthful recordings to her powerhouse solo performances at the end of her career. Selections include Come Rain or Come Shine, Get Happy, Over the Rainbow, and more!
