The Ridgefield Theater Barn proudly opens its 54th Season with the Neil Simon comedy, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Friday, September 6th. The production, which is directed by Michael Ferrara, will be presented Friday and Saturday evenings from September 6th to the 28th at 8pm, with Sunday matinees September 15th & 22nd at 5pm.In this classic comedy, Barney Cashman (Duane Lanham) is a middle-aged restauranteur in the midst of a mid-life crisis,who begins to feel the desire to roam and realizes that one day each week, his mother's apartment will be empty all afternoon. He makes several attempts at seduction with three separate women (Paulette Layton, Kate Patton, and Linda Seay),only to learn that it is much more complicated and difficult than he could have imagined.The Ridgefield Theater Barn is located at 37 Halpin Lane; cabaret seating, bring food & beverage, doors open one hour prior to curtain.
