Its 1934, and the Cleveland Grand Opera Company is thrilled to welcome world-famous Italian opera star, Tito Merelli, to appear for one night only. Through a series of mishaps, Tito goes missing, and the shows producer and his assistant Max, must find ways to cover up the absence, placate the superstars jealous wife, and distract his fans.
