A house full of drama waits to be ignited as misunderstandings and tempers flare, and the 'quiet weekend' comes to an exhausting and hilarious finale. Hay Fever is one of Noel Cowards most delightful comedies.

Cast and Creative team for Hay Fever at Powerhouse Theatre in Waveny Park

Cast

Ashton Yount

Charles Condomine
Ashton Yount is a 19-year-old Ball State student majoring in Theater Creation. They have been in multiple shows throughout high school and has kept up with theater through Chancel’s summer shows after playing Jesus in last summer’s Godspell. They are super excited to have worked again with Kyle for this show and are super proud of the rest of the cast and crew for making the show happen.

Sahara Thibault

Ruth Condomine
Sahara Thibault is a recent graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and is starting a new journey in theatre education at Ball State in the fall. She started at a young age helping in Chancel productions, and eventually played ZuZu in their production of It’s a Wonderful Life – A Radio Play. Since then, she has been in many more shows, not missing a single production she could be in at Central Catholic. Last summer, she had the honor of playing John the Baptist/Judas in Chancel’s Godspell and is so excited to play the incredible role of Ruth, in this production of Blithe Spirit.

Kade Wereley-Bross

Elvira Condomine
Kade Wereley-Bross is a sophomore at Ball State studying Theatre Creation and has already started getting involved in the theatre scene there. They have been acting ever since they were seven and is so excited to be able to continue pursuing this career. This is their first production with Chancel, but they are really excited to be working with Kyle again. Most recently they were a part of the 10-Minute Play Festival at Civic Theatre. They can't wait to be a part of a British comedy like Blithe Spirit and are thrilled to be playing Elvira.

Chloe Turner

Madame Arcati
Chloe Turner (Madame Arcati) is very excited to make her debut with Chancel Players. Her previous roles include the 10-Minute Play Festival, Rosalinda in die Fledermaus, and many more college and high school productions. Chloe is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis. She would like to thank her friends who have become family for always supporting her and showing up to every event. She would also like to thank her family for always believing in her and keeping her grounded.

Brian Ruh

Dr. Bradman
Brian Ruh (Dr. George Bradman) has taken a number of online tests recently that say he's an INTJ, an enneagram type 5, and would actually make a pretty good Vulcan. He is a doctor in real life, but of the film studies kind, not the medical kind. He was last seen onstage as Mr. Kraler in the Chancel Players' production of The Diary of Anne Frank. He would like to thank his wife, his daughters, his parents, and his parents-in-law.

Nakia Geder

Mrs. Bradman
Nakia Geder (Mrs. Violet Bradman) - This is Nakia's first show with Chancel Players. She has performed at Civic Theatre, most recently as Calpurnia in To Kill a Mockingbird. Nakia would like to thank the cast and crew of Blithe Spirit for such an enjoyable experience.

Emily Fry

Edith
Emily Fry (Edith) is so excited to return as Edith in Blithe Spirit with Chancel Players, after recently making her debut as Miep in The Diary of Anne Frank. She enjoys working on her podcast, A Court of Witches, playing video games, and doing new activities! A special thanks to all who have helped her get to where she is now!
