Femi Kuti is a two time Grammy Award nominated and multiple Billboard World Music Award winning Nigerian musician, and the oldest son of legendary Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti. He’s best known for his collaboration American hip-hop artists such as Mos Def, Common and Jaguar Wright and has toured with Jane’s Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers’- bringing his blend of funk, jazz and African folk to the masses. Getting back to his Afrobeat roots is the central aim of Femi Kuti, who continues to evolve with his band The Positive Force. Kuti, an Amnesty International Ambassador, continues to expand the diversity of his artistry on his new album “No Place For My Dream”.
