Race and real estate collide in this outrageously funny and provocative Pulitzer Prize and Tony-winning new play. A spinoff of Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun, CLYBOURNE PARK explodes in two acts set fifty years apart. The first act is set in a white 1959 Chicago neighborhood where the community splinters over the black family about to move in. Act II fast-forwards to 2009 when the same community, now a mostly black neighborhood, splinters over a white family's renovation plans for the now historic home. Contains adult themes and strong language.
