Beauty and the Beast at Hamden Mainstage Ensemble

This story brings the audience into a magical world. A young intelligent girl is taken prisoner by
a beast. In spite of her fears, she befriends the enchanted castle staff and learns to look past the
surface to see a person's true heart and beauty, and eventually falls in love with the Beast.
This musical continues the Mainstage Ensemble’s tradition of presenting fabulous productions.
In recent seasons, audiences have been delighted to see Wait Until Dark, Rodgers and
Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, and the hilarious, The Addams Family.
The cast for this wonderful production includes the talented students of Hamden High. The cast
is lead by Seniors Americo Salvi, Alondra Cardona, Rebecca Alexander, Chris Hart, Haneef
Burrell and Ashley Womack. The cast also includes the talents Sarah Kuras, Matthew Mercado,
Emily Andrews, Kevin Cathey, Danyelle Sydnor, Ava Purdue, Cindy Lozado, Emma Tangerone,
Travis Sourragh, Isabella Stevenson, Sofia Saracco, Cailynn Castro, Cristian Castro, Ava Carter,
Abby Brooks, Elena Farley and Isabella Hinkson.
