For six decades Ballet Folklórico de México has brought Mexican history and culture to stages around the world. Come see exquisite folk dances accompanied by a traditional mariachi band and colorful costumes that reflect the rich culture of Mexico. The dances reflect the traditions, customs, legends, beliefs and lifestyles of people in particular countries and regions. Expressing the life and spirit of the people through movement and music, it is both historical and current, preserving tradition yet moving with the present times.
Ballet Folklorico de Mexico promotes pride in Mexican cultural heritage and this artistic form of communication unites Hispanic Americans across the country, helps build a sense of community and creates a way to share Mexico’s rich heritage with others.
