Broadway star Brennyn Lark returns to Connecticut and Curtain Call for a one-night-only concert event in The Kweskin Theatre, on Friday, January 17.
It sounds like a fairy tale, yet Brennyn Lark’s trajectory to stage stardom is just that. She missed her college graduation because she was already in rehearsal for the role of Eponine in the Broadway production of LES MISERABLES. From there, other projects have followed and kept her busy doing what she loves and what we at Curtain Call were privileged to see years earlier when she played Dorothy in our Summer Youth Theatre production of THE WIZ. This CT native most recently starred on Broadway as one of the lucky wives of King Henry VIII playing Catherine Parr in SIX.
A dream come true, Brennyn got to make her West End debut as the lead role of Deena Jones in the revival of DREAMGIRLS. She played Alpha Smith in the Pre Broadway production of the Louis Armstrong musical, A WONDERFUL WORLD, and has worked with the legendary Stephen Schwartz, playing Tzippotah in the World Premiere of THE PRINCE OF EGYPT."
Brennyn had a guest role on Season 3 of The Amazon Studio's hit show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She has made appearances on the Today Show, and the Sherri Shephard Show, as well as singing internationally in Tokyo and at the most famous arena MSG, performing the National Anthem multiple times.
Brennyn continues to share her voice and express herself in any way she can. Her concert performances let her shine through multiple genres, with a strong focus on Broadway musicals.
Brennyn is a performance coach, helping students not only refine their skills, but remember the truth of who they are! You can listen to Brennyn's new song "Goddess" available on all music streaming platforms. Please visit brennynlark.com for more info!
