Following the first phase of a major renovation and capital expansion, the Theater Barn doors re-open on March 10th for their ever-popular annual An Evening of One Acts. The production will be presented without intermission Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm, March 10th through April 1st. The two Sunday matinee performances on March 19th & 26th at 2 pm will feature a talkback with the playwrights following the show.
The 2023 An Evening of One Acts will feature eight short plays: An Awkward Conversation in the Shadow of Mount Moriah by John Bavoso, directed by Gina Pulice, featuring Josh Adelson and David Tate, Incorrigible by Bara Swain, directed by Craig David Rosen, featuring Rachel Dalton and Janice Rudolph, Bassinette by Kate Katcher, directed by Greg Liosi, featuring Cheryl Hughes, Sheri Rak, and Emily Volpintesta, No Good Deed and Remotely Interested both written by Ed Friedman, directed by Deborah Carlson and Linda Seay, respectively, and featuring Mark Hankla, Pamme Jones, Rachel Dalton, and David Tate, Group by Ridgefield’s own Chris Griffin, directed by Brian DeToma, featuring Rachel Ames, Lindsay Clouse, Taffy Miller, Thomas Stubbs, and Bill Warncke, Rugby’s Angels by Joe Carlisle, directed by David Fritsch, featuring Mark Hankla, Angie Joachim, and Pamme Jones, and Stealing a Kiss by Laurie Allen, directed by Linda Seay, featuring Larry Greeley and Stephanie Hepburn.
The Barn maintains their signature cabaret theater style, and audience members are encouraged to bring food and drink to enjoy before the show. Light refreshments are also available in the lobby.
