ANNOUNCING AUDITIONS for 9 to 5 The MUSICAL
The Little Theatre of Manchester is pleased to announce open auditions for an April 2025 Production of 9 to 5.
BASED ON THE 1980 Comedy classic
9 to 5 The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, is an unpredictable story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era. An outrageous look at the life of the working woman, based on the 1980 comedy classic.
Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with their sexist and egotistical boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy taking control of their lives! With an energetic score by superstar Dolly Parton, this high-energy musical celebrates female empowerment and equality in the workplace. With such songs as "Shine Like the Sun," "Backwoods Barbie," and the title song "9 to 5," this show promises to be a rip-roarin', toe-tappin' good time!
We are seeking a diverse and multi-racial cast for this production.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, January 12th and Wednesday, January 15th at 6:30pm, with callbacks on Sunday, January 19th at 6:30pm, if necessary.
