The 2nd Annual Afro Latino Film Festival, hosted by Pa'lante Theater Company in collaboration with The Bushnell, showcases a dynamic selection of nearly 40 films illuminating the rich stories and experiences of the Afro Latino community. Running from January 15 to January 19, 2025, the festival features screenings in Waterbury and Hartford, with a lineup that includes both narrative shorts and documentaries. Curated by Rafael Nelson-Feliciano and produced by Isaiah Santiago, the festival emphasizes themes of identity, culture, and social justice through a diverse array of cinematic works.
