Windham Theatre Guild Presents YOU CAN'T STOP THE BEAT

This year the Windham Theatre Guild has chosen music from 4 great Broadway shows. From the Disney musical 'Beauty And The Beast', songs we've chosen include 'Be Our Guest', 'Belle', 'Home', and 'Beauty And The Beast'. The current Broadway hit 'Beautiful, The Carole King Musical' provides many great songs including 'On Broadway', 'You've Got A Friend', '(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman', 'One Fine Day', and many more. Songs chosen from 'Hairspray' include 'Good Morning Baltimore', 'Welcome To The 60's', 'Without Love', and 'You Can't Stop The Beat'. And from the terrific Jule Styne/Steven Soundheim megahit 'Gypsy' we chose 'Let Me Entertain You', 'Together Wherever We Go', 'Everything's Coming Up Roses', and several other great songs. Three of these shows have won the Tony Award for either 'Best Musical', 'Best Original Score' or both and 'Beautiful' won the Grammy Award for 'Best Musical Theater Album'. There is no doubt that this show will delight both chorus members and audiences alike.

Join us on Friday and Saturday, April 28 & 29 at 7:30 pm at the Burton Leavitt Theatre, 779 Main Street, Willimantic. Tickets are $11 for adults, $9 for students and seniors and $6 for children under 12. Tickets will be available at the door or you can call 860-423-2245 to make a reservation.
