The Windham Theatre Guild kicks off their Fall season with Don't Dress For Dinner by Marc Camoletti, opening Friday, September 16th at the Burton Leavitt Theater

Escape for the evening to the French countryside where Bernard is planning a weekend with his chic Parisian mistress. He has attended to every detail including hiring a gourmet cook, packing his wife Jacqueline off to her mother's, and inviting his best friend Robert to provide his alibi. It's foolproof! What could possibly go wrong? Suppose Robert shows up not knowing why he's been invited and the cook is mistaken for the mistress and the mistress can't cook? Mix these ingredients and you have the recipe for an evening of hilarious confusion.

Directing for the first time for the Windham Theatre Guild is Michele Abbazia Gagne, a Willimantic resident and ECSU alumni. Michele studied at Circle in the Square in New York City and has performed and directed in various areas of New England as well as NYC. She has performed in many Guild shows, and has been seen most recently on stage in Steel Magnolias, The Importance of Being Earnest and in the world premiere of Blessed Event. Starring in Don't Dress For Dinner is Ian Matthew Harrington, Vanda Doyle, Michael Siddell, Kaitie Hartman, Lindsay Payne, and James York.

Don't Dress For Dinner runs September 16, 17, 23, 24, 25, 30, October 1, 2011 at 8:00pm, Thursday September 29th at 7:30pm, and Sunday September 25th Matinee at 2:00pm at the Burton Leavitt Theatre, 779 Main Street, Willimantic.
