MAIN STAGE SEASON
THE FULL MONTY
Book by Terrence McNally/Music & Lyrics by David Yazbek
This ten-time Tony Award nominee, based on the 1997 Academy Award nominated film, is a one-of-a-kind musical filled with honest affection, engaging melodies and the most highly anticipated closing number of any show. While spying on their wives at a "Girls' Night Out," a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo see how much the ladies enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash, but in the process, they "expose" themselves in more ways than one. As they conquer their fears, self-consciousness and prejudices, the men come to discover that they're stronger as a group, and the strength that they find in each other gives them the individual courage to "let it go." It's a story full of heart. Right to the end, you'll be wondering if these lovable misfits will really pull it off.

THE DINING ROOM
By A.R. Gurney
One of A.R. Gurney's most eloquent plays, this classic from 1981 looks at American life and WASP culture by way of the dining room. Gurney's funny, touching, and thought-provoking vignettes invite the audience to see themselves and their families on stage. Should we go back to life revolving around the dining room table, or has the room become a relic? In "giving up" on dining rooms, what else are we losing? The Dining Room asks us to think about the roles of tradition
