The Wilton Playshop's benefit, Sing Me A Story, with performances on Saturday, March 27th, at 4PM and 8PM features a night of music, celebration and tasty treats. The star-studded cast will perform many favorite show tunes as audience members select a wide array of dining choices depending on the tickets purchased.

Sing Me A Story is hosted by Wilton's Beverly Ward, who first began performing as a child. She has since graced Broadway stages and appeared in National and Regional Tours. Together with her husband, Kirby, she has traveled the world and has been fortunate enough to perform for royalty and heads of state. Her moment to top would be stopping the show at the Hollywood Bowl with their tap-dance rendition of Gershwin's "I've Got a Crush on You". Bev is also a painter and a composer/lyricist.

Bev will be surrounded by a talented cast of performers -- including her husband, actor/director/choreographer Kirby and Broadway veterans Donald Birely, Burke Moses, Kevin Cooper, Susan Terry and Sarah Pfisterer. They will be joined by Playshop favorites Kate Castel, Lynne Colatrella, Danielle DeCrette, Janice Dehn, Mary Jo Duffy, Meg Fuentes, Sarah Lee Michaels, Ellen Krinick-Porto, Jeff Porper, and Zelie Pforzheimer.

Those of you familiar with Broadway will recognize Burke Moses, who debuted on Broadway as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls and then went on to create the role of Gaston in the Broadway, Los Angeles, and London productions of Disney's mega-hit Beauty and the Beast.

Susan Terry made her Broadway debut in the original Broadway cast of Evita. Other Broadway credits include Zorba (starring Anthony Quinn), Anything Goes at Lincoln Center (with Leslie Uggams), and City of Angels in which she co-starred opposite Tom Wopat.

Wilton's own Sarah Pfisterer was nominated for the prestigious Joseph Jefferson award for her portrayal of Christine in Broadway's The Phantom of the Opera and has appeared in Harold Prince's Show Boat (Magnolia), and Children and Art.
