The Sherman Playhouse will open its 2013 Season with Ray Cooney's rollicking farce, RUN FOR YOUR WIFE.

In RUN FOR YOUR WIFE a London cab driver, John Smith, has two wives, two lives, and a very precise schedule for juggling them both. With one wife at home in Streatham and another at home in Wimbledon, and with occupants of the flat upstairs at the latter location. Trouble brews when Smith is mugged and ends up in the hospital, where both of his addresses surface, causing both the Streatham and Wimbledon police to investigate. Complication is piled upon hilarious complication as Smith tries to keep his double life from exploding into a comic frenzy.

The production features some of the regions best actors: Kelly McMurray (Danbury), Sara Panaccio (Southbury), Michael Wright (Newtown), Fred Rueck (Patterson, NY), David Fejes and Jeff Rossman (both New Fairfield), and Martin Rosato and Jeff Solomon (both New Milford).

RUN FOR YOUR WIFE is under the direction of Franics A. Daley of Danbury.

RUN FOR YOUR WIFE runs April 5,6 12,13,14 19,20,21 26,27. Curtain time is 8:00 p.m. Fridays & Saturdays, with a 2:00 p.m. Sunday matinee on April 14. Tickets for all shows are $20 for general seating.

On Thursday, April 4, all patrons are invited to attend a "Half-Price Preview Night" at 8:00 p.m. where all tickets are only $10. Students may see any performance for only $10 if they pay in cash only at the door and carry a valid student ID. Students may not make reservations in advance for a performance.

The Sherman Playhouse is a local, non-Equity theatre company located on 5 Route 39 North (next to the firehouse) in Sherman, Conn.
