The Scorpion Bar at Foxwoods Announces Live Music Sundays, Updated Battle of the Bands Participants for Summer 2013

WHAT: The Scorpion Bar at Foxwoods Resort Casino will fill the room with music on Sundays, as they bring a mixture of live music and Scorpion's annual Battle of the Bands competition to end the weekend on a high note.
The Battle, featuring up-and-coming artists vying for the top prize of $500 and the chance to be played on Radio 104.1, is happy to announce that they will welcome local acts Calvacade, Evident, Metcalf and Paryah to the stage on Sunday, June 30. On Sunday, July 28, both Cometa and Big Charlie's Big Rubber Band will take the stage, as well as Humble Patients and Hearts and Thieves. Sunday, September 1 will welcome back Forget Paris, who has already qualified for the finals.
Joe Ardito, Katelyn Richards, Deception Fades, CAD and Novus Dae will all be on hand for the first live music Sunday on June 23, with the first three acts also returning on August 11, along with Chaser 8.
