Jazz trombonist Curtis Fuller and saxophonist Javon Jackson present a master class dedicated to the students of the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz in Millard Auditorium, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, on Thursday, September 22, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public for observation.

On Monday, September 26, the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz presents a master class with jazz guitarist Randy Johnston. This master class is in Room 342 of the Alfred C. Fuller Music Center, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. This event is free and open to the public for observation.

The Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz Student Ensembles will perform two concerts that include a broad range of jazz repertoire on Thursday, December 1, and Friday, December 2, at 7:30 PM, in Lincoln Theater, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford. Admission is free.

The Hartt School is the comprehensive performing arts conservatory of the University of Hartford that offers innovative degree programs in music, dance, and theatre.
