The Capuçon-Angelich Trio will appear as scheduled at Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. The preconcert talk, however, has been cancelled due to the untimely death of the speaker, Dr. Bruce Bellingham.

The evening's program will include Beethoven's Trio No. 11 in G Major, Op. 121a ("Kakadu Variations"); Piano Trio No. 2 in E minor (1942) by Shostakovich, and Brahms' Piano Trio
No. 2 in C Major, Op. 87.

Jorgensen is located at 2132 Hillside Rd. on the UConn campus, Storrs. Regular tickets are $28 and $30, with some discounts available. For tickets and information, call 860.486.4226, or order online at jorgensen.uconn.edu. Convenient free parking is available across the street in the North Parking Garage.
