Award-winning Pantochino Productions Inc, the ridiculously entertaining non-profit theatre company specializing in theatre for family audiences has announced plans for its 2013/14 season which includes three new musicals and the Connecticut premiere of a recent off-Broadway hit.
At a recent fundraising event, producers Bert Bernardi and Jimmy Johansmeyer announced the young company's next season would be performed in its entirety at the Milford Center for the Arts in downtown Milford. "We've received a very warm reception by the Milford Fine Arts Council, the Downtown Milford Business Association and our audiences too," said Bernardi. "The intimate theatre space, convenient location, easy parking, and being steps away from shops and restaurants make this the perfect location for our company to thrive and grow," he added.In October, Pantochino will debut "Porkenstein," based on the popular children's book by author Kathryn Lasky. Perfect fare for the Halloween season, the new musical is a mash up of the Frankenstein legend and the story of the Three Little Pigs. Performance dates are October 19-27.Videos
